Two souls on a pathway
Each alone, yet joined now
to the other
Who leads, who is to follow

Who grows the garden
who tends the home
Where do they meet in
the middle

Is there ever a mid-line we stride together
If so, how do we discover it
On our paths joined
yet still so very separate

Is the journey of the pathway
perceived in similar ways
Or do you see it one way
while I another

And if so, how do we discover
the honor of each other
While preserving our own honor
All the while attempting forward movement

We have become aligned on a pathway
