Soul Windows....

Today I cleaned the windows of my soul

It has been a very long time
 Since I gazed out of these windows

Funny...... I thought others could see in my windows
with their frilly curtains and knickknacks embellishing the sill

And I waited for them to show themselves

"Why do they not come" ?
I asked myself on countless sleepless nights

If I could not see out,
how then .......could another see in?

Today I cleaned the windows of my soul
And with new perspective gazed upon the world
I rearranged the knickknacks on the sill
and cleaned also the dwelling place of my soul

Once I become comfortable within my soul again ........
I will share it with others, selectively

Until that time ....my frilly curtains remain closed
honoring the stillness I seek.....
inside the windows of MY soul

On YOUR Way?

The way we go;

together or alone

The ways we have gone

Before, now, when......how?

Why do I move in the directions I do?

And you in yours?

What force aligns your way with  mine...

What then pulls us apart...

is it the same.....opposing or connected

It matters not

The way we go is the way we choose regardless of the cause

Be it "forced" upon us or gifted to us

We own the feet and the intention that

propel us into the wave of the way

Are you going your way?

Are you aware of the choices you are making?

Or, have you given your power to the

way of another?

 Gaze down for a brief aware moment

Are those your feet down there?

Or do you see the trodden soil of another

as you walk obediently behind them?

Allow YOUR way

it is the only true home

your feet shall ever 
KNOW
