Love died today
Murdered by marauding
lust, shame and self
denial
As she strolled home under a full ripe
moon
The suspects were lurking in the shadows
of life
Love was unaware they were
there
She was ambushed
and swiftly taken down
Dying well before her time
A sad tale indeed
A memorial service will be held in the
hearts of many
As they grieve the loss
collectively
For when love dies in one heart
it dies in all of them
one
little piece
at a time
Many questions remain surrounding
this global crime
However, there will be no exhumation
of Love
This time, this day
This life
May she RIP
