Perfect Places

http://www.twistedrootstudios.com

Love comes out of the most
perfect places
Friends, strangers
Moms and daughters
Grandpas and grandsons
Perfect Places

We are imperfect
We must nurture love
Give her the soil
to grow
Cover her in the compost
of our pasts
The old makes way for
the new
to sprout
and stretch
as vines intertwined

We can love more than one
person in one place
at one time
Love is open and free
Any restrictions placed on her
are ego laden, not of love herself
For she is perfect
in all the places we
discover her

How do we honor her perfection?
How do we give and
take in harmony and balance?
How do we make her stay?
We begin by knowing that she is
a gift
A gift most precious
We can not make her bend to a
will or a way
We allow her to connect us
in places perfect

We allow her in and we take care
of her as we take
care of those
we love
When we hold hands
As we talk late into the night
During the times we offer
our
shoulders to
each other
By giving more than we receive
By knowing when we are
needed
And by getting out of our own
way
Perfect is fragile and strong
in the same breath
The same
mystical moment
Tough and tender synergy

Love springs forth
out of
the most
perfect places
Friends, strangers
Moms and daughters
Grandpas and grandsons

Perfect Places to grow
LOVE!
