Love swept away in a drive by drowning rain
Can't see the road through all this driving pain
Loss of touch can render one insane
HALT the season of drive by rains
One warm day the sun will dry my tears
Let me know peace in my coming years
Let time turn and restore the rusted gears
Of my heart, so tender and full of fear
When the rain comes to again meet me
Let the sun find within me, that tiny seed
Let me rejoice in the sprouting I see
As I prepare to grow wild and free

Let me walk the valley, the mountain, the shore
