Waking a Goddess, that's a noble cause
What were you thinking, man?
Letting the words flow from your tightened jaws
In the heat of your deep passion awakened again
The fire was hot and fierce and they melded
The intensity took him to a place of guilt
Now his passion has waned, in the fire melted
The Goddess left standing on the pedestal he built
Alone, she stands, moving forward in hindered stride
He unstirred now, unknown to him why
She confused, her need for passion pushed aside
He confused, wanting less than before, he cries
Woke a Goddess, he did, the poor soul
Offering herself in joy with a hearty laugh
Full and effortless is her love, safely whole
Full and effortless is her love, safely whole
Trying to respond in kind, he could only love her half
So be it, human she spoke to him in peace
You are who you are, and I who I must be
You are who you are, and I who I must be
Let the turmoil with in us cease
Thank you for showing up to bravely wake me
