ah, but so soon gone
We lived it well
Love blooming all around
in the pinks of the peonies
and the red of the roses so fragrant
Summer gone
enter the crisp, cool Fall
We lived it well
Headdresses of the trees becoming
vivid and then vacant
Gold and green and red and orange...blended
Winter here
The white truth of the frozen world
We lived it well
Breath hanging in the cold, perfect ghostly air
Footprints left behind
to retrace some day, perhaps?
Spring comes soon
the promise of the new day
We will live it well
The smell of the wet, pungent earth
the song of the birds
Bare feet on Gaia's tender green grass..connected
Our seasons......
We
lived
them
well
