Peace Full...for Steve

Let my words rise in colors as the sun
from my solar center....
peacefully
Flowing easily out upon a stream of
baby blue consciousness

My words wax as wishes.....
Pastel panoramic painted poems sent out
from my throat chakra
also baby blue
and adult true....Pieces of peace,
my words
are borne to be
For you, I wish them to wash you free.... as a river
of serenity flowing o'er you

May the vibrations of my truth rising through the
words I choose
comfort you, and perhaps, you too,
will share your words of peace
in pastels, pencils and paintings as they rise
of your sun center....
Peace full

Let us share the personal pieces of our
                     selves..... peacefully.....
                                                                                                     together

Weapons of Self Destruction

Invited to your personal war
I decline
Invited to a pity party
I decline
Invited to a battle of wits
I decline
Invited to an ego fest
No thanks

I choose to accept the invitation
from the peace of my
own voice
I choose peace and quiet
Stillness and subtle
yet profound counsel with
my inner peace monger
It's how I roll

You are invited to join me
However, you must leave those
weapons of self destruction
at the door
When you're ready, let me
know
Peace, baby

Fly Flags of Flowers

Hey, what ever happened to that
peace thing?
What ever happened to loving
your brother
ALL your brothers and
sisters?

Why do we still argue about
skin color
or ethnicity?

Why are some of us so
afraid of ourselves
still
That we will attack
another person
For any reason....

Hard to say?
Figure it out, friend

Whatever happened
to love
and caring and
feeding those souls
that starve?

What ever happened
to sharing
and not littering
the planet

Hard to say?
Clean this place up!

What ever
happened to
common decency?

What happened
to you and
me

Hard to say?
Where are you under all that
everyday damage?

Climb with me to that
ground high
Let us lift our voices
again

Hold my hand in your hippie
skirt and bare feet
Don your patchouli
pungent
Fly flags of flowers around
your neck

Love me free, comb my
hair...flowing
Dance in the streets in the mid
day sun
Take a day off work and
take a nap in the park

Fly flags of flowers from
windows
Hand flowers out to the wandering
strangers
void of beauty in their
lives

What happened to us
people?

Hard to say?
Make it easy once
again

Silent Soliloquy

http://www.twistedrootstudios.com

Vibration
Correlation
Insubordination
Negotiation

Aria Sweet
Composition Complete
Revise....Repeat
Revamp...Retreat

Voices are energy
Thoughts their synergy
Met in synchronicity
My silent soliloquy

My voice vibrates best
In space.....stillness quest
The noise I detest
Life I must digest

My voice heard in silence
Needing no definition of science
My life knows no compliance
Of human ways denying reliance

Of nature to show the way
Of the night flowing into day
Of calm in the storm's relay
Of the beauty... the star's display

My voice is one of perfect harmony
For my voice is  simply just me
Speaking the truth of many connected centuries
Peace, love, truth... sung in silent soliloquy

Like a Promise

Night breezes blow in gently
tempting the morrow to come
and come it shall....
like a promise

Knowing the day will relentlessly follow the night
comforts her
Knowing the night provides the peace of respite
after the long days spent
chasing
and
running
Her anxiety adjourns
for sacred slumbered hours so pristine and  precious

Chasing what?
Running to or from....what?

Running to keep from standing
still
For in the still moments
she is free to recall
the past
the void
the ache
the sad memories...

In the chase, she moves towards an end
that never appears
In the fevered cantor of the run
she feels the fleeting freedom
she seeks so strongly
yet can not gift herself

Breaking the ribbon of the finish line
first, alone
puzzled to have reached it
once again
She hesitates... scans her sector
checks her pulse
ties her frayed laces and is off
once more
no one there to cheer her on
no one there
no cheer

no one

Running to the morrow
back in the chase
Seeking that promise of the
new day
Always seeking

Knowing it will come again

she runs....

The Very Thing We Sought

Ashes in the  dust
Love rapes trust
Inner struggle, inner war
Taking less while wanting more
of the very thing we sought

What we speak is what we create
Do we cooperate or do we compete
If we align and intersect
How soon until we reject
the very thing we sought

My voice vibes out into the waves
Telling a story about my days as a slave
To a bottle filled with guilt and shame
Inebriated and numb, dry and void of rain
..the very thing I sought

Inside the answers lie down deep
We shovel the shit on top of our joy... fast asleep
The joy bursting forth some how, some way
And you find yourself with a choice one day
To allow the very thing you sought

The spoils of my war is joy today
In your struggle you will find your way
The days deep become your best friends
Because you realize so deeply when the pain ends
Inside.... you always owned that very thing you sought
