Good Morning, Star

Morning star yawning, sets to sleep
But not before she greets me after
my dreams deep
As I rub my waking baby blue eyes
She stares at me, sleepy from her sky
Peeking up past the hill's white crest

As the day wakes deep upon my
white breast

Not unlike the new fallen snow am
I
White and awake, living under new sky
A soft white glow upon my face
Pristine and crisp, no trampled trace
Of any one walking leaving prints
I am free of intrusion or incident

I wake to this day and bid goodnight
To the morning star's far away lantern of light
For she and I walk roads reversed
The same world we each wander and traverse
She lights long into the night's somber steep
As she's on alert, I know the dreams of sleep

While she is covered in her cosmic slumber
I move and flow through my days in white

wonder
Of the morning star painted upon my waking

sky scape
And how....
Her waking illuminates .....my mid-nightly dream

escape

Fire and Fist....Blood and Bones

trail obscured
in the mire and mist
the mud and the
stones

path covered
by the fire and fist
the blood and
bones

peace unknown
for centuries
torment of time
replayed

fully apart...blown
no synergy
regretting, forgetting the rhyme
delayed

until the day
my vision cleared
third eye and blue
eyes connected

along the way
my passion revered
second try.... I knew
my self reflected

standing tall on the road
I had stumbled upon encumbered
free now of frustration
moving forward, strong

honoring all, cracking the code
all eyes opened...once slumbered
me, now... envibing elation
flying forward.....to where I belong

From My Tears, and My Sun

Stumbling down the road of this
life thing we
got going
on
The road is winding, smooth, rocky
 Often so very labored, so
long
Roads become blocked with the
debris of weather
vicious
Or, they may be lush and full
A journey's trail sweet and
ripe, exotic and so
delicious

Walk this road or take another
The constant chatter
inside our
rambling, raging heads
We may walk beside death
and destruction
or in partnership with an alive
and vibrant
deep green engaging
river bed

My roads have led me to pain
and passion
To laughter and tears
To loss and discovery so amazing
it took my breath away
I have filled river beds with my
salty saviors
I have been the very sun
that dried them all
From my tears and my sun sprang
 flowered
trails to savor

From the rain of our tears....
as hurricanes
Is a clearing of the pain that
births them
And the peace that
sweetly came
In the rebuild after the storms
of epic toll
so cold
This, I have learned
Somewhere along the road

Where The Angels Live (part 1)

Coming home?
Crossing the threshold
of the tempestuous
past
I planned to escape

The orange desire of my
sacral chakra
ablaze with the pain only
banished joy can
bestow

I ache for her....
my city

Once again
along the road of my
misaligned life
I find myself
standing before the door
of my once known
home

What stumbled and stray reality
returned me to this
passionless
place I planned to
escape?

How did I discover my
feet upon the
wooden creaky stairs
again?

Descending....

as if in a
dream destroying delusional
downward
spiral

Home.....
I do not feel as if I am
home

I was kidnapped by happenstance.....
taken from my
true home
nestled in the wrapped embrace
of my mama ocean

Living on the island
eclectic

Guarded by the steel structured
sentry
She takes my very breath
when I witness her orange
desire and
beauty ablaze in the
sun

The gasp of my soul.... audible
and felt fully
within the chambers
of my childlike
heart

Painted true... she stands tall amidst the
baby blue cloud clustered
or perfectly still
sky

This sky, where the angels live and
look down upon they
who reside there
The cloudy clusters
their pillowed billows to
play within

In the pretty hippie city by the
benevolent bay
My bay, my city.....childlike
My
home....

Does she ache for me
too?

On Our Road

http://www.twistedrootstudios.com

I traveled our road in my
memory today
Recalling the splendid
walk we have begun

As you've walked the world
with me
I see that we have covered
deep distance
in such a short time

Time....she stands still for us
as we have met on our
road again
We have discovered
each other
again

I realized that this road had
been waiting for us
to rediscover her.....
For so very long

She has waited long
enough
We have found our feet
moving in the same
direction again

Walking the same road
Our Road

Together, now
We honor the road we
had taken in a life
long, long ago

We have rediscovered
us
Out on our rediscovered
road

No more wandering
No more worry
Just a little more time
to clear the way
ahead

And we shall find ourselves
rediscovering
that life lived together
On Our Road

The Road

It's all bout the journey, she said to him
and he knew that she was right
Time we can learn to expand and trim
while aching for each other at night

But I miss you so he whispered back
I know, I miss you too
Remember, we are full, there is no lack
Now go to sleep........ adieu

They grew to know connected peace
Their precious blended moments... though fleeting
Brought them closer to the retreat
They would soon know, with hearts co-beating

Mutually, they chose this road
Hearts not knowing any other way
They didn't even realize they had been alone
Until they were found along the road that sacred day
