Greed runs freely, madly in the streets, the office and on Capital Hill. A people cry out for assistance, the cry is muted by the clang of coin and the rustle of the paper money being produced, yet unsecured.
This is Power?
Governments close their doors....one side wanting cuts, the other wanting more cushion. Schools on the endangered species list, health care attacked, children lost in the shuffle.
How powerful is a country that ignores its own in pursuit of more Gold, more material gain? Is true power not love at its purest level?
We show power when we help another person. When we give up a little piece of ourselves for the gain of another. True power is ego-less. True power is peace.
A nation of money rich, compassion poor individuals is not powerful.
Instead it is power depleted, and, until we see this as the truth..... the truth will be a tough pill to swallow.
A pill that you can not afford with no job, no health care and no one who gives a shit about your quandary.
Today, be a powerful person and love yourself enough to see the truth.....that we gotta take care of each other, every day, in every way.
