Paint Me

Your colors cascading
in the wind
Sent out from your aura
wrapped round you
as a blanket of
peace
Drawing those souls in
who suffer
Who long to know
the peace
painted from your many
colored palette
Held in your hand that
comforts
my brow at the end of
a day most
heavy
The weight lifted as your lingered
traces fall and float
across my face
Touch me in your rainbow color
ways.....Paint
your peace across the canvas....
my skin
soft and waiting for the hairs
of your brush
To trail across me as you paint
your intentions
along the length of my labored
back
Paint the curves and diving dips of
my body gratefully displayed
in front of you
waiting breathlessly for the paintbrush
of your multicolored tender
touch
Paint me tender with your
peace

Where Nothing Meets Everything

Recalling moments
here in the stillness so deeply indigo
In the calm nothingness of everything I have known
and all I shall never
know

In the dusty pink morn
I hear the day wake
as I retreat to the places inside
myself
No where else to go
but inside my own shades
and my own hues

The blends and meanderings of all
of me
show themselves in raw form now
in the stillness
where nothing meets everything

Pastels...pale
Ruddy reds and blues bejeweled stirred
from the depths
of my soul of the sea
as blue

I have painted a masterpiece
here in the stillness
No where else to go
but to my palette and brush
Silence my model... naked on the stool
posed perfectly...peacefully, seducing my thoughts
Guiding my hand across the
canvas of my white hot crystallized consciousness

Nothing meets everything tonight
in this sweeping seductive stillness
of my magentaed mind

Broken Ladies

They came in the BLACK
of my night
My compass off, they helped
set it right

They spewed ugly, deep pain
in technicolor purging
Sending the message to my heart to
allow my urgings

She showed me white, the holes in
her socks thread bare
Without speaking she told me
"relentless running will get you one thing...
feet raw and red with wear"

After they taught me I
released the gray
I had carried for so long, making clear
the blue of day

I saw again the dark night set
deep in indigo
As a canvass for the
many stars aglow

They shared their colors
dingy and bright
And I reconnected to the full
spectrum of my light

These broken ladies I honor
here and now
For in their mending they also
showed me how
to
mend
