Landed she has,

The Raven

Dark, yet gifting the promise

of illumination

You know, the shadows thrown

across the land are yours

As she flies away,

Heart splayed open....death displayed

She's wearing a dangerous disguise

The perfect beauty of her nest

Is just a trap, it offers you no real rest

 

Dark secrets she attempts to shed

As she lures you to her broken bed

In her eyes is fear, look close

You'll become addicted, dose by dose

 

She's a wicked careless raven

Somewhere in the middle of all that cravin

You'll find yourself trapped deep inside

The chaos and the wicked black lies

Wishing for the glorious day

Before you gave in to her wicked ways

Shadows Cast

Surviving attacks in the past
Living through the pain of love
Deep shadows had been cast
Ones he never ever spoke of

She felt the freedom presented
in the connection that was growing
She felt his past was resented
and that his fears were out, showing

How to help him trust in this
she wondered in her mind
Could she bring to the surface his bliss
While he allowed his heart to be refined

It was all very simple if they would stop asking why
The energy of it had been deeply birthed
He was the embodiment of Father Sky
and She, his partner, Mother Earth

May they be strong and see this through
And take the love in far and wide
For where there was one, now there's two
Settled peace they will find in their melded stride

There seems to be an excuse for your behavior when you are young and dealing with a fire in your loins, When you are struggling to become a man, and your self esteem improves by having a nice looking lady on your arm.

That's when the trouble begins for the young ladies, as they stumble into their puberty and are judged by the size of their breasts, the color of their hair, the wiggle in their jeans. This awful process can follow a woman her entire life.

So, today's message is for men, who have actually out grown their teenage ways and the ways of hormonal picking and choosing......what can you list as your partner's best qualities that do not involve how he or she  looks?

It's them, not you

Lonely makes people do silly things.....they lie, they cheat, they present themselves falsely. They want you to stay, so many have left them before.

Will you stay if you know their real self?
Will you return when you walk out the door?
If you knew the truth would you love them?

When you are mistreated by another person, do a quick inventory......most times you will find they reacted or acted in a certain manner because of THEM not YOU.

Before you react, think.
Before you assume you are the problem, look for the solution.
Owning a lie that is not yours to own helps no one.
